FloorEver^TM Engineered Plank Flooring

Since 1931, Weber Veneer and Plywood has been manufacturing the highest quality engineered hardwood products. As a family owned business we have produced aircraft propellers in the 30s and 40s, to pinball playfield boards and Die Boards in the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, to engineered flooring into the 21st century. Our entire production line is constantly updated with the finest equipment available from the United States, Germany and Italy. The 100,000 square foot facility is located in Shawano, Wisconsin, Gateway to the North Woods, approximately 35 miles west of Green Bay.

We start the manufacturing process with hardwood logs that are obtained from vendors that utilize only the best forest harvesting and yield sustaining forestry practices and procedures that are feasible. These logs are conditioned in steam and then rotary peeled into veneer under precise tolerances. The veneer is dried to ensure that proper moisture content is consistent. After sorting and grading, the veneer is glued and pressed together under consistent and constant pressure forming 5-Ply engineered flooring. Each ply is turned 90 degrees to the previous layer for a balanced construction, while maximizing strength and stability. The finished plies are then sent through a computerized milling machine, which precisely cuts and mills each individual plank to ensure a proper fit. Finally, we apply a WearMax® advanced ceramic finish, the best in the industry. All of these processes occur at normal atmospheric conditions. No external heat is applied at anytime during the entire manufacturing process.
